General Statement

History

A passionate but small group of Twin Falls business owners, residents, educators, and school district administrators were united by a common concern for increasing levels of funding and support for pre-K─12 education in the Magic Valley. In 1991 the organization was recognized as a 501 (c)(3) non-profit entity for the "benefit and betterment of schools in Twin Falls School District.” Inspired by the drive to contribute over and above baseline education and sharing a belief that needs of students and educators was too big a task for a school district to undertake alone, Twin Falls Education Foundation was established.

Twin Falls Education Foundation is no ordinary organization. The institution facilitates working programs and donations that benefit students and teachers on a regular basis. Through its outreach and partnerships with local and national business entities, the organization encourages others to make a direct and meaningful impact on children and educators in public education.

The organization works alongside teachers to provide students the support necessary to not only succeed in the classroom, but to also succeed in life. Through its efforts, students’ 4educational experiences have been enhanced, students and educators’ horizons have been broadened and teachers’ resources have been multiplied. The scope and vision of district and school faculties and administrators have expanded.

Twin Falls Education Foundation works to develop and implement school improvement initiatives, support model programs, award grants, recognize and advocate for educators and leverage community resources to support, strengthen and improve public education throughout Twin Falls School District.
